Frequently asked questions
How often should switchboards be serviced?
Most installations are serviced annually, with high-load or mission-critical sites done more often. We set a schedule based on your equipment age, load and criticality.
Do I need periodic electrical inspection?
Larger and non-domestic installations require statutory periodic inspection by a Licensed Electrical Worker. We carry it out to SS 638 and issue the required certification.
Can you do works overnight to avoid downtime?
Yes. We regularly carry out overnight switchboard changeouts and servicing on live, critical sites to avoid disrupting operations.
What is a thermographic survey?
An infrared scan of switchboards and connections under load. It reveals abnormally hot joints and components so they can be fixed before they fail or cause a fire.
