Frequently asked questions
Cat6 or Cat6A — which should I use?
We advise based on speed, distance and budget. Cat6A is the choice for 10G and longer runs; Cat6 is fine for many office workstation drops.
Do you install the CCTV cameras too?
We install CCTV power, cabling and containment, and coordinate with your security integrator for the cameras and NVR. Full camera supply and integration is handled with a licensed security partner.
What does the CommScope warranty cover?
As a certified installer we can register a system warranty of up to 25 years on compliant structured-cabling installations.
Can you do the data and the electrical together?
Yes — that is the point. One low-voltage sub-contractor for power, data and CCTV cabling reduces coordination and cost for the main contractor.
Do you install fibre?
Yes — single and multimode fibre backbone, risers and inter-floor links, terminated and tested.
